On “It’s About Learning,” Bo Adams posts to think about teaching and learning. Ideally the writing and imagery will inspire commenting, thinking, and writing in others. The more comments the better – Bo is hoping for many dialogues and discussions about learning. What he really hopes for is an “It’s About Learning” Coffeehouse…
For so long, much of the conversation in education has been primarily about “teaching.” Let’s change the paradigm and make LEARNING the primary focus of our conversations.

Regards from Beijing where we have a program that takes Chinese students from China’s rapidly developing independent secondary schools, out of China for short term socially- and development-focused focused work projecrs, starting with Cambodia but now quickly expanding beyond. I have signed up on the recommendation of my long term friend Peter Cobb who is a member of our International Advisory Board. Now that I have had a first look, I can understand why he recommended it.
Wonderful ideas…..I am a teacher from Vancouver, Canada, and I love your ideas; I worked with “gifted students” and I have learned a lot from them.

Thanks for the insight!

Steven Johnson’s book is amazing. I blogged about it a little while ago, Possibly the best I’ve read all year. You probably also already saw his RSA animation, which is very good.
His coral reef analogy reminds me very much of what I saw in your synergy classroom.
Love the coffeehouse idea! Bravo.
Let the thinking begin…
